Lamosa 2017 Annual Report

Momentum
for Growth

Having become a company with extensive scope across the Americas is also an important differentiator. The size and capacity of our operations represent a unique platform to extend our footprint to regions with great growth potential.

Currently, one third of Grupo Lamosa’s operations are outside Mexico, diversifying revenue streams and risk.

It is now one year since Grupo Lamosa acquired Cerámica San Lorenzo and it has been a very satisfactory experience, producing better results than originally anticipated. 2017 was a year for identifying best practices on a local level and integrating them into a new Grupo Lamosa corporate culture. Moreover, the company has already begun to take advantage of synergies, improving operations, making a number of processes more efficient, and enabling the leverage of the advantages that each country offers because of its geographic position and market composition.

This strategy will guide us in the years to come. Currently, one third of Grupo Lamosa’s operations are located outside Mexico, diversifying revenue streams and risk. We plan to gradually grow this expansion rate. On a world level, the ceramic building products sector is atomized into a large number of companies, which represents a great opportunity for consolidation for the company.

Grupo Lamosa will strengthen the significant differentiators with which it currently operates: closeness to the customer, strategic brand positioning, products with added value, and momentum resulting from great size, scope and strength, to capitalize on the opportunities that will surely appear in the immediate future.
