Lamosa 2017 Annual Report
Our Commitment to

Sustainability

Message from the CEO:

The integration of the operations of Cerámica San Lorenzo in 2017 represented a significant challenge for Grupo Lamosa. However, the dispersion of its operations in different countries, such as Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Chile, each with its own culture and regulations, gave the company the opportunity to identify diverse sustainable activities, enriching and benefiting it with best practices in economic, social and environmental issues.

Throughout the year, Grupo Lamosa took advantage of valuable learning experiences and different ways of doing things, creating a new, more diverse and multicultural Lamosa culture. Being a multinational company, with a significant presence across the Americas, has enabled a number of projects and activities in the neighboring communities, increasing the impact and scope of the company’s sustainability objectives.

Grupo Lamosa reaffirms the commitment it acquired when it voluntarily agreed to adhere to the principles of the United Nations Global Compact. It will continue implementing actions to promote social responsibility and fight corruption in all its businesses, while promoting human and labor rights, as well as sustainable practices that benefit the environment.

Grupo Lamosa boasts a diverse labor force and uses cultural diversity as a key factor for development and growth.
