Strategic Priorities

Profitability

Grupo Lamosa has managed its finances well in recent years, resulting in a constant growth in profits and an adequate debt level. Consequently, it has received positive ratings from important financial rating agencies, such as Fitch Ratings and HR Ratings, strengthening investor confidence in the company.

The good financial performance reflects a number of factors, including a focus on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs and increasing revenues. To this end, the company has implemented measures to optimize its production and distribution processes, which has resulted in a better management of resources, and continuously diversified its portfolio.

Geographic complementarity

In recent years, Grupo Lamosa has made a number of acquisitions, including: Cerámica San Lorenzo in 2016; Eurocerámica in 2020; Roca Tiles in 2021; Fanosa in 2022; and Baldocer, recently in 2023. This has strengthened the company’s presence in existing markets and enabled it to reach new geographies, such as Brazil, Spain and the United States, consolidating Grupo Lamosa as a global company and underpinning its position in the construction industry.

This geographical growth has driven the diversification of the company’s product portfolio, which is continuously adapted to the needs and demands of each market in which it operates, to provide innovative and high-quality solutions for its customers. Without a doubt, this has been one of the keys to Grupo Lamosa’s success and one of the strategies that it will continue to implement in the future to further consolidate its position in the market.

Sustainability

The company has implemented important initiatives in the area of sustainability. In 2022, Grupo Lamosa made its first materiality analysis, with the aim of identifying the main environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues that should be prioritized. This enabled the implementation of a reporting exercise in accordance with international sustainability standards that prioritize the management of non-financial information.

Grupo Lamosa’s efforts to integrate ESG criteria have been notable, particularly in recent years: from the reduction of workplace accident rates and the development and training of its people, to a circularity strategy in its processes, aimed at optimizing the use of production materials and avoiding waste.

Another important aspect is undoubtedly the management of polluting CO2e emissions. Grupo Lamosa has placed special emphasis on energy efficiency strategies, prioritizing the correct management of production equipment, as well as its gradual renewal, and finding opportunities in energy cogeneration and self-generation.

Finally, the company develops products with sustainability criteria that respond to the most stringent certifications in the sector, such as UL GREENGUARD for the Adhesives Business and GREEN SQUARED for tiles.
