Compañía Manufacturera de Ladrillos is founded in Monterrey to produce and sell bricks.

1929

Bernardo Elosúa Farías and Viviano L. Valdés acquire the company, changing its name to Ladrillera Monterrey, S.A.

1951

The company starts listing on the Mexican Stock Exchange.

1933

The company begins manufacturing wall and floor tiles, and clay blocks.

1957

The Adhesives Business begins operations with the Crest brand.

1963

The Sanitaryware Business begins operations through the subsidiary Sanitarios Azteca.

1998

Grupo Lamosa acquires the company Adhesivos de Jalisco, incorporating the Perdura brand.

1995

The company changes its corporate name to Grupo Lamosa, S.A. de C.V.

2001

Grupo Lamosa acquires Industrias Niasa, incorporating the Niasa brand.

2004

The Benito Juárez, N.L., tile plant begins operations and enters luxury segments of the market.

2007

The Tile Business acquires the company Porcelanite and decides to sell the Real Estate Business, including the Galerias Valle Oriente and Plaza Cumbres shopping centers.

2004

Grupo Lamosa changes its corporate identity in accordance with the organization’s vision of innovation and growth.

2015

Grupo Lamosa divests the Sanitaryware Business, to focus solely on tiles and adhesives.

2016

Cerámica San Lorenzo is acquired, enabling the company’s entry into the South American market in four countries: Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru.

2021

The tile business of Grupo Roca, a Spanish company with operations in Spain, Brazil and the United States, is acquired.

2020

The company Eurocerámica is acquired, strengthening Grupo Lamosa’s presence in Colombia.

2022

Grupo Lamosa acquires FANOSA, a Mexican company leading the market for Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) products, used mainly as insulators and lightening materials in the construction and packaging industries.

2023

Baldocer is acquired in Spain, strengthening the commercial offering in Europe with high added value products.
